Green Customer Experience
In order to protect the place we love, we need to think of the environment in all business practices, including the customer experience being delivered. We're looking for green initiatives that reduce waste, promote environmental discussions and incentivise customers to be environmentally friendly. The award is designed to recognise businesses that utilise customer facing green initiatives to create a point of difference and improve the overall customer experience.
The Green Customer Experience Award is open to all businesses participating in the Spark Stella Awards.
You must submit a one page application that describes your customer centric environmental concept that is currently used within your business.
Applications must be completed by 4:00pm on Monday, 2 July 2018. You can uploaded your application in PDF format via the website.
Remember that during the month of July you will still need to complete the online workshop, Introduction to Customer Experience, through Service IQ.
Judging
There will be one winner of the Green Customer Experience Award.
Green Finalists will be independently selected on the basis of their application.
The Green Customer Experience Winner will be selected after a site visit where an independent panel can see and experience the green initiative.
Innovation in Customer Experience
Innovation sits at the heart of improving customer experience. We’re looking for new, original ideas that impress and create customer loyalty. The award is designed to recognise businesses that utilise innovation to create a point of difference and improve the overall customer experience.
The EGLT Innovation in Customer Experience Award is open to all businesses participating in the Spark Stella Awards.
You must submit a one page application that describes your innovative concept that is currently used within your business.
Applications must be completed by 4:00pm on Monday, 2 July 2018. You can uploaded your application in PDF format via the website.
Innovative concepts can include equipment, technology, space or process. Examples;
- state of the art equipment worn or used by the customer
- use of technology that streamlines systems used by customers
- unique creation of office space/retail space/restaurant space
- processing equipment/kitchen equipment that allows staff to improve production times, thus improving the customer experience
- an additional benefit to the customer for choosing the business over a competitor
The concept must improve the customer’s overall experience.

Judging
There will be one winner of the EGLT Innovation in Customer Experience Award.
Innovation Finalists will be independently selected on the basis of their application.
The Innovation Winner will be selected after a site visit where an independent panel can see and experience the innovative concept.
Stella Teams
All Stella Team entrants must submit a one page written application and supply supporting documents.
Applications must be completed by 4:00pm on Monday, 2 July 2018. You can upload your application in PDF format via form below.

- Terrain Best Independent Retail Team
- ServiceIQ Best Hospitality Team
- The Edge Best National Franchise Retail Team
- House of Travel Best Professional Services Team
- DPA Best Service & Trade Team
- ServiceIQ Best Tourism Team.
Finalist Teams will be selected on the basis of;
- Workshop attendance
- Written application
- Mystery Shop results
- Online workshop completion
Winning Teams will be selected after a 20-minute site visit from an independent panel.
Star Performers
All individual Star Performer entrants must submit a one page written application and supply supporting documents.
Applications must be completed by 4:00pm on Monday, 2 July 2018. You can upload your application in PDF format via the form below.

Judging
There will be a BNZ Star Performer winner announced in each category.
The categories are;
- Retail Star Performer
- Independent Retail Star Performer
- National Franchise Star Performer

- Service & Trade Star Performer
- Hospitality Star Performer
- Tourism Star Performer.
Star Performer Finalists will be selected on the basis of;
- Workshop attendance or homework completed
- Written application
- Online workshop completion
Star Performer Winners will be selected after a 15-minute interview with an independent panel.
